It’s been awhile…

It’s been awhile since I’ve visited my Tumblr. First, a little thing called Sandy, and then a big life change - a new job! Changing jobs was one of the hardest things I’ve done. I was very sad to leave my job at Text100 - it was my first real job where I met and worked with the most amazing people. To say that leaving was bittersweet is an understatement. But I’m so excited about this new opportunity. I am working at MMC on the Herbal Essences and Aussie teams, as well as a Multi-Brand Commercial Innovation team for P&G. It’s so up my alley and everyone has been so welcoming. It’s hard to start something new after being at one place for awhile, but change is good and I’m excited about this one. More to come!

And now that my life is somewhat back to normal, I’ll be posting more regularly!

What I’m loving.

Revlon’s ColorBurst Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie.

One of my favorite bloggers, Gal Meets Glam, always has such flawless makeup and gorgeous lip colors. She has been wearing Raspberry Pie lately, and I thought it was such a perfect color for fall/winter I had to pick it up myself. I’m hooked!

What I’m loving.

The gel manicure.

Ok I realize I’m a little late to the party on this one, but I just got my first gel manicure about a week and a half ago and I’m hooked. It does not have one chip, and the color looks just as great as it did the first day. Plus, not having to wait around the salon for it to dry is an added bonus. The only thing I’m a little curious about is the damage it will do to my nails when I soak it off. I might not make it a bi-weekly thing, but will definitely get it for vacations and such when I need my manicures to last longer than their normal 3-day period.
